A new 341 home community is coming to the shores of Trout Lake in the rapidly expanding Wellness Way area of Lake County in Clermont. This community is located behind Wellness Way’s first community of Ridgeview. It appears that access to this new 341 home community may go through Ridgeview by way of Crestavista Ave. The currently private dirt road N Bradshaw would also provide access to the community from Hwy 27. The yet to be named neighborhood will also have an entry/exit on the soon to be paved Schofield Rd. Schofield Rd will provide very quick access to the Hamlin area of Winter Garden’s Horizon West. This new community will also have quick access to the future Wellness Way Town Center and Olympus. The new road, Wellness Way, which with traverse through another massive 1850 home community will connect up with an extension of Winter Garden’s New Independence Parkway.
Here is what we know about this new 341 home neighborhood so far. There will be multiple floor plans available with a minimum of three exterior elevations. Lot sizes will be ranging from 40, 50, and 60 feet. According to the concept plan we can see 23 lakefront homes on the north shore of Trout Lake. There are also three neighborhood parks on the lake front including a large linear park in the middle of the community. We’ve also seen plans for a county park adjacent to the community on the eastern shore of Trout Lake. This will occupy the space vacated by the 90 degree turn in Schofield Rd by the Micky Forest. Current activity appears that this section of Schofield Rd is being moved very near the Micky Forest to ease the curve in the road.
In this new community there will be a tot lot, a pool, and a clubhouse. There will also be an internal trail that will provide easy access for pedestrians and bike riders to the Lake Louisa State Park.
