The former Clermont Motor Lodge that was demolished back in 2013 will possibly get rezoned for a townhome development on 8.5 acres at the major intersection of U.S. 27 and State Road 50. This plan will feature 68 single-family attached townhomes!
Along with the townhomes, which are planned to be 24 feet wide by 50 feet deep and two stories tall, the community will have an abundance of amenities. The community is expected to have a community pool, activity lawn, promenade, dog-walking trails, playfields, mail kiosks, and cabanas.
The area is ideal when it comes to what’s available nearby! Two grocery stores, restaurants, medical offices, and other neighborhood services are just a walking distance away. The breweries, dining, and retail of downtown Clermont are also just over a mile away.
The plan is to have one-way streets as part of the plan to offer rear-loaded garages. There will also be parallel parking spots along these one-way streets.
